Dans le cadre du programme visant a mettre fin aux maladies dans la region africaine de l'OMS, le cluster UHC/CND au sein du bureau de l'OMS en Guinee est guide par l'agenda strategique regional : « reduction du fardeau des maladies grace a l'utilisation de l'analyse pour informer des interventions sur mesure et orienter les investissements dans le controle des maladies ».Les objectifs poursuivis par l'UHC/CND sont les suivants : (i) fournir un leadership en matiere de coordination du controle des maladies, de partenariat et de mobilisation des ressources ; (ii) contribuer au developpement des produits techniques de controle des maladies de l'OMS, des services et des outils, ycompris l'adoption de nouvelles technologies et innovations ; (iii) soutenir la production et l'utilisation d'informations strategiques pour l'action et la prise de decision, y compris l'optimisation des investissements ; et (iv)faciliter le soutien aux pays - assistance technique dans le deploiement des produits techniques de l'OMS et le renforcement des capacites institutionnelles, y compris le soutien aux programmes nationaux de lutte contre les maladies et aux autorites reglementaires - en vue d'une meilleure gouvernance des programmes, d'une meilleure couverture des interventions et d'une meilleure qualite des interventions.DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Le titulaire accomplira tout ou partie des taches suivantes, ainsi que d'autresresponsabilites connexes selon les besoins du bureau :• Travailler sous la supervision directe du (des) Agent(s) de SantePublique respectif(s) et/ou du responsable du bureau de pays de l'OMS.• Faciliter la gestion efficace et efficace, ainsi que la coordination del'expertise, pour fournir des conseils techniques sur le developpement destrategies nationales durables, multisectorielles et integrees, politiques,interventions et plans pour renforcer les systemes de sante et renforcer lescapacites dans le domaine du controle des maladies transmissibles et nontransmissibles (MNT).• Recommander des plans d'action pour inclure des interventions deprevention et de controle des maladies tout au long de la vie et du continuumdes soins.• Coordonner l'adoption de normes, de standards, de directives et d'outils poursoutenir la mise en œuvre de projets de controle des maladies.• Gerer les aspects operationnels de la recherche operationnelle connexe,de la surveillance, de l'epidemiologie et des enquetes de sante.• Faciliter la mise en œuvre de projets pour le controle des maladiesrespectives, y compris l'approvisionnement en medicaments et technologies surs,efficaces et abordables.• Guider la documentation et la diffusion des meilleures pratiques et desexperiences des partenaires.• Analyser et evaluer une gamme diversifiee de donnees et d'informationsliees aux maladies transmissibles et non transmissibles et aux epidemies ;identifier les sources de maladies et fournir des recommandations et des rapportssur la reponse appropriee aux risques identifies, et la mise en œuvre demesures preventives et de controle.• Surveiller lacharge nationale des maladies transmissibles et non transmissibles ou desfacteurs, notamment par le biais des systemes d'information sanitaire et desactivites de recherche en sante. Coordonner le developpement ou l'ameliorationdes systemes d'information existants sur les maladies transmissibles et nontransmissibles et le suivi des progres vers la Couverture Sanitaire Universelle(CSU).• Exploiter les connaissances des systemes locaux et des normes culturellespour : servir de point focal technique de communication avec le public sur lesmaladies transmissibles dans le pays ; et etablir de nouvelles activites desensibilisation communautaire concernant la prevention, le controle, le diagnosticet le traitement des maladies transmissibles et non transmissibles.• Plaider en faveur de la construction et du renforcement de partenariatset de reseaux pour ameliorer la collaboration multisectorielle en matiere deprevention et de controle integres des maladies transmissibles et nontransmissibles. Contribuer a la mobilisation des ressources pour le programmede travail.• Autrestaches/fonctions connexes telles que assignees par les superviseurs.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Essential: • Un diplome universitaire (bachelor) dans un domaine pertinent (tel que lasante publique, l'epidemiologie ou les statistiques).Desirable: • Specialisation en maladies transmissibles et non transmissibles.
Experience
Essential: • Un minimum de cinq ans d'experience professionnelle pertinente pour le poste (dans les maladies transmissibles etnon transmissibles, en mettant l'accent sur l'investigation, la surveillance etle controle des maladies, ainsi que le developpement de strategies et de plansd'action pour la mise en œuvre de programmes de renforcement des capacites etde prevention des maladies).Desirable: • Experience professionnelle demontree dans la prestation de services techniques aux contreparties nationales, aux ministeres de la sante et a d'autres ministeres et partenaires sur lesquestions liees au controle des maladies. Experience professionnelle pertinente a l'OMS, a d'autres agences des Nations Unies, aux partenaires de mise en œuvre ; experience de travail dans des organisations nongouvernementales ou humanitaires pertinentes.

REMUNERATION
Remuneration comprises an annual base salary starting at GNF 521,628,000 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
